Dr. Swift completed his Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah in 2012, and his Doctorate of Medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Following his surgical internship at Tuscon Medical Center, he completed his Residency at the University of Arkansas in 2016.
Dr. Swift specializes in Medical Retina, including treatments for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He also treats cataract disease performing cataract surgery with both standard and premium lens options to optimize outcomes for his patients. He is committed to treating these diseases to optimize his patients’ visual function and maintaining vision for as long as possible.
He has received the Beehive Honor Society award from the University of Utah, as well as Senior of the Year for the College of Health University. He also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in France, and is still fluent in French.
When Dr. Swift isn’t helping his patients, he enjoys skiing, hiking, playing soccer, and traveling. He participated in the Marine Corp half marathon in 2008, as well as the Rock n’ Roll half marathon in Washington, D.C. in 2011. He is happily married with three boys.
