Dr. King received his Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology at the University of Iowa in 2016, and his Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021. Following this, he received his Business of Eye Care Certificate from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and completed his residency in Cornea & Contact Lenses at Indiana University School of Optometry.
Specialty contact lenses fuel his passion for helping his patients attain their best possible vision. Dr. King loves instituting new lens designs for his patients, and being able to offer the best possible technology and overall product. He fits Rigid Gas Permeable lenses, including corneal, hybrid, and scleral designs. He also fits for orthokeratology for overnight corneal reshaping, HOA – corrective scleral lenses for high-definition vision, and custom soft lenses for high prescriptions.
Dr. King is an active member of the Utah Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. He has received the GP Contact Lens Clinical Excellence Award at Indiana University, the Dr. Henry Hofstetter Scholarship Award, and the Sheldon Wechsler Contact Lens Residency Award, among many others.
When Dr. King isn’t working, he enjoys snowboarding, cooking, and traveling with his fiancé. He likes playing and watching sports, especially basketball, football, soccer, and golf.
